The new owner must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 5 days of purchase to activate guarantee.
Health Guarantee: Breeder guarantees puppy to remain free of diagnosis of life threatening communicable disease for a period of 14 days. If the puppy is not examined within the 5 day time period any health guarantees are void. In the event the puppy is diagnosed with such disease in the specified time, the breeder will reimburse veterinary expenses up to the amount of the purchase price OR in the event the puppy dies confirmed by veterinary documentation due to such a disease having been diagnosed within the specified time, then the breeder will refund purchase price of the puppy. Breeder guarantees the puppy not to be diagnosed and clinically afflicted with a life threatening, blinding or crippling congenital or hereditary defect/disease prior to the puppy turning 12 months of age. In such an event, the breeder will refund the purchase price.
Any refunds shall be made within 90 days. Limits of liability: Any disease, defect or condition that is not life threatening in nature does not blind or does not cripple the puppy is excluded from guarantee. Cherry eye, bite alignment, allergies, and reproductive system are not covered by guarantee. The breeder does not guarantee that the puppy is or continues to develop as "show quality". Breeder is not responsible for and will not reimburse for veterinary expenses except as may be otherwise stated within this agreement. Breeder is not responsible for any financial obligation beyond the initial purchase price. Breeder retains the right to require a 2nd opinion to confirm diagnosis by veterinarian of her choice. Breach of any terms of this agreement will null and void the health guarantee.
Puppies are sold on limited AKC registration- This means puppies are being sold to pet homes only and are not to be used for breeding. Puppies are required to be spayed/ neutered.
Purchaser Responsibilities:
1. Feed a premium DRY food. Avoid foods that contain wheat gluten or corn. Use a food in which meat is the #1 ingredient is meat. (Not by product) Do not feed DIAMOND, puppy or dog chow, kibbles and bits, alpo, pedigree, Ole roy or grocery store generic dog food. Some of our recommendations are Wellness, Natural life Lamaderm, Nutro Natural Choice Lamb/Rice, Call of the Wild, Eagle Pack, Solid Gold, Pro Plan and Eukenuba.
2. If ever you can not keep your puppy, the puppy will not be re-sold or given away to a third party without breeder approving such a third party. The breeder retains right of first refusal. Health guarantees are non-transferable to third parties.
3. If at any time the breeder finds that puppy is living in an abusive or neglectful situation, the breeder may refund the purchase price and immediately take the puppy back into her possession and you agree to cooperate and not contest such repossession. You herein agree that living chained up to a dog house outdoors or crate confined 24/7 is abuse and you will not subject this puppy to such treatment.
4. This puppy is to be spayed or neutered between 4 - 7 months of age, and the puppy is not to be used for breeding. The AKC registration application shall be given to the purchaser at the time proof of sterilization is supplied to the breeder.
5. This puppy must be seen by a veterinarian for annual exam ,vaccines, deworming and He/she must be on a heartworm preventive monthly.
